Job Description: MissionCIT is seeking qualified individuals to serve as per diem proctors for our firefighter & EMS candidate evaluation process. Proctors will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and fairness of our testing procedures. We proctor assessments from entry-level to Chief Officer and Fire Marshal. We are seeking all ranks of service for our promotional examinations. Responsibilities: Oral Interview Boards: · Serve as a panelist for oral interviews, evaluating candidates based on standardized objective scoring rubrics. · Participate in pre-interview briefings and post-interview discussions. · Maintain objectivity and fairness throughout the evaluation process. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to maintain professionalism and objectivity in a high-pressure environment. · Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. · Basic computer skills (for remote proctoring). · Experience in education, assessment, or a related field is preferred. Fire Service OR EMS Experience: · Must be a current firefighter/EMS provider or recently retired. Please include your highest held rank/certification level and any relevant certifications or accreditations in your resume. Candidates will be placed in the exam being proctored that is one level below your highest held rank/certification. This ensures familiarity with the material and a fair evaluation process. Additional Requirements: · Must be able to pass a background check. · May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. · May need to travel to various testing locations within the United States. · Must sign a confidentiality contract. We are looking for a part time, contract GIS Analyst who can assist us in the continued growth of our company in helping public safety organizations improve and deliver great services. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

• Knowledge of fire and EMS department operations
• Knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis
• Experience using ESRI ArcGIS products to display data, including the new Fire Accreditation module
• The ability to critically think about the most effective methods to display data in a visual context
• The ability to utilize and analyze spreadsheet data to develop patterns and trends in the display of data
• General knowledge of NFPA 1710 and 1720 standards
• Center for Public Safety Excellence courses and knowledge of the standards of cover and community risk assessment process
• Certified GIS Professional (GISP)
• The ability to work with a team of consultants on a project and meet project deadlines

This position is part time, on a contract and project specific basis. It includes no benefits and is paid on an hourly basis. No travel will be involved.

• 5+ Years as an EMS Instructor with a current AHA instructor certification.
• Willing to travel (primarily CT)
• Bonus:  Certified to teach NAEMT programs, and having a current EMS-I
