How EMS Hybrid Training Works

Part 1 - Online Learning

Complete NHTSA and NREMT Hybrid courses delivered online - available 24x7. CTOEMS Approved, NREMT-Accepted , include a comprehensive Study Guide with interactive video, flashcards, glossary and 1000's of questions to prepare you for the certification test.

Part 2 - Interactive Sessions

For the 12-Week Classes - Twice weekly evening sessions are usually Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9p Eastern Time. Sessions are via Zoom, are instructor or student-led in a flipped classroom setting covering the curriculum content scheduled for that week.

Part 3 - In Person Skills

40+ hours of In-Person Skills sessions prepare you for the State Psychomotor Exam. Usually weekends from 8a-4p at one of our Fire School partners or at our Shelton Offices. Includes certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. In addition, you receive an EMT response gear for practicing and performing the necessary skills.
