Mandated Reporter Training
MissionCIT offers Mandated Reporter Training for First Responders. The focus is for EMS Professionals and Firefighters. The level of training is at a sophisticated level appropriate for EMTs, Paramedics and Fire Service Officers and those with particular interest in the subject matter.
The Mandated Reporter Training courses include Dr. Hoffman-Rosenfeld’s Child Sex Trafficking course and Child Abuse course, and MissionCIT’s new Human Trafficking course developed in collaboration with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF).

MissionCIT offers these unique and informative Child Abuse and Child Sex Trafficking courses authored by Dr. Jamie Hoffman-Rosenfeld. Dr. Hoffman-Rosenfeld is a board-certified Pediatrician in the subspecialty field of Child Abuse Pediatrics. Formerly, she served as the Medical Director of the Bronx Child Advocacy Center and Child Abuse Pediatrics consultant for the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, NY.
Currently on the faculty of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Hoffman-Rosenfeld remains actively involved in educating medical students and physicians on a broad range of topics. Her particular interests lie in the field of Child Abuse Pediatrics.

If you’re looking for more CEU credits, the courses are available as a bundle for $15! The Child Abuse course is 1 CEU credit, the Child Sex Trafficking course is 0.5 CEU, and the Human Trafficking course is 2 CEU credits. MissionCIT will provide all certificates and paperwork necessary for the National Registry.

The National Sexual Assault Hotline: This hotline provides support and resources to victims of sexual assault, as well as to mandated reporters who are concerned about child sexual abuse.
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence: This organization provides information and resources on domestic violence, including how to report suspected child abuse.
The National Child Abuse Hotline: This hotline provides support and resources to victims of child abuse and neglect, as well as to mandated reporters who are concerned about child abuse and neglect.
