What is a Training Readiness Platform?
A Training Readiness Platform (TRP) is an instructional environment that connects learning to the question EMS educators ultimately have to answer: is the learner ready? It includes the functions of a learning management system (curriculum, delivery, assessment, and progress tracking) and connects them to the learner's broader training record.
How is CommandCIT different from a traditional LMS or publisher courseware?
Publisher courseware is built around a textbook, with everything else attached to it. CommandCIT is built around the training journey: content is organized by Topic inside the learner's cohort, instructors can customize it, assessment connects to instruction, and results build a Learner Jacket. The content is refreshed every two years and updated as soon as AHA guidelines or national EMS standards change.
What is the difference between Command Core and Command Complete?
Both include the CommandCIT platform, the 48-Topic Initial EMT Content Package, instructor guides and decks, the interactive workbook, EMS Mentor, and Support Tools. Command Complete adds Prep & Pass NREMT exam preparation and includes the printed two-volume workbook.
Can we buy seats for a whole class online?
Yes. There is no minimum order: choose the package and the number of learner seats at checkout. You can also request a quote at any time, for example if your program needs a purchase order or invoicing.
Is the Initial EMT content aligned to national standards?
The Topics are organized by the content areas of the NHTSA National EMS Education Standards and aligned to the NREMT EMT cognitive exam. The package is a content license: your program obtains its own state course approval and course number and conveys credit to its learners. MissionCIT provides documentation to support the approval process.
Is the course content generated by AI?
No. The curriculum is written by EMS educators, reflects the knowledge and competencies assessed by the NREMT, and is curated by EMS subject-matter experts. Where video lessons use digital presenters, they present material written and reviewed by EMS educators.
Does CommandCIT track clinical and field experience?
Not yet. Clinical, field, and competency documentation are on the platform roadmap and are in development. They will not be represented as available until they are completed, tested, and released.
When is CommandCIT available?
