Scott Appleby is a distinguished emergency management professional with over 30 years of experience in public safety, homeland security, and disaster preparedness. From 1994 to recently in 2025 where he retired, he has led the City of Bridgeport’s Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security, overseeing emergency communications, continuity planning, and multi-agency coordination for one of Connecticut’s largest municipalities.
