Bridgeport FD Selects MissionCIT for EMS Training in November 2022 to provide all of Bridgeport FD’s EMS training.  This five (5) year agreement includes Initial and Recertification Training for EMRs and EMTs, CPR training, and an EMR to EMT bridge program.  ALS-level recertifications will begin in late 2023.

Included in the MissionCIT EMS All-in-one program is the MissionCIT Learning Portal, which is a web-based Learning Management System (LMS) with over 80 EMS + AHA courses.  All EMS courses are CTOEMS-approved and NREMT and NHTSA compliant.  The MissionCIT Learning Portal allows Bridgeport Training Leadership to track EMS course progress.  And monitor the EMS license status of all 280 firefighters.

The first order of business was recertifying those needing their updated CPR cards which was completed in December 2022.
